freaking sucks. I have it on FSH, and there's been parasailing, interviews, and Cowgirls bullcrap, in addition to Rangers promo ads, but no Astros baseball. and I'm IN HOUSTON.
Castro is now 0-for-17 against LHP. He actually hit LHP better than RHP in the minors so I'm sure it's just sample size. I'm happy with what I've seen from Castro. Most importantly, he's been very good behind the plate. He's also shown an ability to lay off pitches and draw walks. The AVG and stuff will come next season and beyond.
This Sanchez kid should start for the rest of the year. Im starting to like him more then Manzella. Another thing is, these Astros make baseball fun to watch again. Thank you Young Gunnas!
4 straight well hit balls of Norris in this inning. Fortunately, Bourgeois was able to make a play on Holliday.
I remember them showing Bud's numbers the 2nd and 3rd time through an order. It gets pretty ugly by the 3rd time. I imagine it's a combination of hitters figuring him out quickly and him fatiguing and losing his command.
In 3 years, do you think Norris will be... A. a starting pitcher? B. in the pen? C. in the minors? JD said something to this effect tonight according to a guy on TCB (I have the game on mute so didn't hear it): Basically said Bud has the kind of stuff which would play really well out of the pen for 1-2 innings and he really needs some kind of softer third pitch to start. Said he should focus on learning one in the off-season but it’s really hard to come up with a new pitch at this level.
in the pen unless he develops some more pitches, a change up would be great for the speed he throws... his command on it seems horrible though
Bases juiced for Onhell. He's not very fast nor does he have much power so GIDP is in play. Hope he gaps one.
