I would say this team might be putting it together, but I would of said the same thing a few weeks ago when it looked like we were on a tear.
ding! ding! ding! you have answered correctly. suck as they do, the last three games were infinitely more enjoyable than the dozen or so prior.
As much as I have enjoyed beating the Cards two straight, it worries me to no end that they will use this to justify not moving Roy, Puma or Wandy.
i certainly understand this.... but damn it's fun to watch the 'stros beat Carpenter like a drum in St. Louis.
This is truly amazing...when the middle of the order is hitting this team looks soooooo much better but I guess you can say that about any team.
the reverse of that is even more true... when 3-4-5 give you absolutely NOTHING....then you look like the worst team in all of baseball.
i'm not exactly sure what got said....but lee popped out...threw down his bat in disgust...and then carpenter said something to him. they argued back and forth. apparently someone on the astros bench was talking to carpenter too... at some point all the benches cleared....and then the bullpens.

2nd and 3rd one out, reasonably sharply hit grounder to berkman a few feet behind the bag, ran forward like glenn davis in '86 and stepped on first, molina was coming home, lance throws home, small collision, relatively easy tag on molina.
bad ass! my game cast froze and it had switched it from 2nd and 3rd to a runner on 2nd and i thought for sure it was a two-run double.
