    stobbart,

Have you been watching the whole game?

Did you see those strikes Moehler threw early that didn't get called, including the one right before the Holliday HR?

I have been watching on and off the whole game but wasn't paying that much attention early. I'm in a poker tournament at the same time lol. Was it bad?

One of the calls was outrageous but it didn't cost us. The one before the Holliday HR was a little bit more acceptable but also bad in my book.

I understand that ball took a bad bounce but I see better shortstops adjusting to those kinds of balls all the time. I saw Asdrubal Cabrera react to a much tougher ball a couple of days ago. Miggy works his butt off but he's getting too old to play short. He doesn't have the body type to play that position into his old age.

It looks like they called it an error.

Miggy now has 17 errors, 23 GIDPs and only 15 BBs. To walk less than you commit errors and hit into DPs is horrendous for an everday player, even a SS.

Sweet, Carpenter can't get the win.

I don't like the guy and I have no good reason for it.

He plays for the Cards. Surely that's reason enough?

    Are they seriously walking Matsui??

Tell me that 4th pitch wasn't a strike. This home plate ump sucks big time.

Pujols could have walked to 2nd there. What kind of garbage was that?

Can Coste throw? Don't think I've seen him attempt to throw out a baserunner yet. Can't really complain, we gave up on the catcher position for this season really, we have a part time standin there

Some real hard hit balls that didn't fall for us, too. Berkman tagged that last one.

Save us the drama, Jose. I have £20 on us to win this game at good odds!

It would only seem fitting to end up losing this game the way things have been going recently.

The ump calls that pitch a strike and it was clearly more borderline than a couple of other ones.

Maybe Berkman's pick me up speech took effect, even if his bat couldn't back up his words. :D

    3 quality starts. 1 win.

Brian "Slump Buster" Moehler delivered the goods last night. Moehler is looking to do what Hampton and Ortiz did not, i.e. making the case for a roster spot next year.
