I don't know if I'd consider that good news at all, considering the previous target for his return was Tuesday, and this says he's too injured to make the start...

Having Pence bat third smacks of intense desperation.

Why does Cooper continue to bat Matsui 2nd an Keppinger 8th?

    Doesn't make much sense.

None of Norris' fastballs have registered on the radar gun... but his sliders have.

    Too fast??? Quite peculiar.

Electric Fastball...Great slider, I am sure second time around the Cards will adjust so Pudge needs to help him out big time!

Maybe Pudge should change his number back... he's looking worse than Ausmus right now.

norris is getting that low strike that the ump didn't give him on 2 of his pitches on the rasmus walk.

impressive start and some solid d behind him.

    Damn! Thanks.

Would have loved to see Bud's game. After watching the latest pitching atrocities.

Should have sent Matsui there... he's a fast enough runner, and the throw would have had to have been perfect.

Keep in mind, we're facing a pretty good strikeout and groundball pitcher... thus more reason to push it when we actually have a chance to score.
