It is becoming apparent in these last two series (if it wasn't already) that we are just not as good as the Cardinals and Cubs. Both of those teams are much better than their records indicate, and I think they will both have big second halves.
Good night on the Astros 2009 season. Hopefully some of these guys will pass through waivers so they can still be traded before Aug 31. Not too sure they'll bring up Bazardo next. I'd bet on Paulino coming back first or even Polin Trinidad getting a shot. His 4.81 era is mostly due to one horrendous outing. Otherwise, he's been pretty damn good since getting called up from AA.
I heard JD and Brown say something about Bazardo being out of options and not on the 40-man roster. What does that mean as far as what we can do with him?
If he comes up he can't go back down without passing through wavers. So you want to be sure he is going to stay up if he comes up.
