Berkman is in another one of his slumps. Oh well.

I hope this team loses a 100 games otherwise we will be stuck in mediocrity forever. Its time to tear it up. We have 1 legit starter and 1 who is ok when healthy. Our team is old and not that great and the payroll is already at a 100 mil.

I thought the Astros were supposed to have a decent offense.

They ceritainly did not show that in this series.

Berkman, Lee, Tejada are either slumping or just getting up there in age. Pudge we know is over the hill and we have 3 over the hill starters in our rotation (moehler, hampton, ortiz).

    Blow this team up.

I don't understand why people continue to have this misconception. Houston's offense was in the bottom half of the National League in runs scored last year. They don't get on base nearly enough, which wastes their above average slugging ability.

I was saying this last year during that run. This franchise will be bad to average every year until they find a direction.

Either spend big to give yourself a chance till you can build up a terrible farm system or tear it up (so give up on now) and have a shot at a quicker turnaround by trading big name players for prospects

My nephew and I called the complete game shutout in the second inning. That was hard to watch.

Watching the Astros used to preempt my other viewing habits. I think I'll only watch games this season if nothing else is on. I don't think I've seen more than 3 innings of any game so far this season and at this point, I really don't care to see more.

Except that our big name players have no trade clauses.
