well i thought they needed the pettite game and the oswalt game plus 3 out of 4 at home against st.louis. since we got f#$ked by garner/lidge in the petitte game we absolutely need to sweep the cardinals to keep the division title hope alive. i've given up on the wildcard due to the amount of teams in front of us combined with the padres playing fairly well.
Padres have to LA and face the Dodgers for 4 this weekend, they also have to visit the Cardinals for 3. Giants also have to do the same. Florida has the toughest schedukle left, and we still have games with the Phillies and Reds. We need to take care of our business and we can do it. 84-78 gets it done. That means 13-4.
