Anybody have the stats on Pena since he moved to lead off?

 

Brown better sign him long term now or he’s gone like Tucker.

 

14 for 42….a .333 average. Two homers.

 

Not happening.

 

He was hitting .342 with a .849 OPS before this game. So average down a couple points but higher OPS.

Even Framber was surprised he didn’t throw that into right field

 

Framber usually throws that into the outfield. I'm proud of 'em.

 

The Astros have asked about tacking on a year or two with Pena and several other guys, most notably Paredes.

I would be surprised if Pena signed an extension that was team friendly because his father was a big leaguer, his mother and father supposedly are pretty savvy with money and they are well established financially and Pena is into finance.

 

Games like this remind me of the winter of 2017-2018. There was a polar vortex sending cold weather down south. This forum was littered with Realmuto and Yelich trade proposals. How would things be different if the Astros had Yelcih in 2018 and 2019 in exchange for then sparsely played Tucker?
