If you are excited about averaging 2 runs a game against the historically bad A's and beating the cubs in righting the shop...I mean I guess. Meanwhile, I will stand by what I said.
Just think if we could have divided the 12 runs into four runs each, we may very well have swept the series. Well that's if someone had kidnapped Dusty's nephew Montero and made sure he was nowhere near the stadium.
What is he going to do if we don't play him every day in the middle of the order-quit? Enjoy retirement.
Screw it, give me some Gilbert and put him in Left/DH with Yordan. I still think they catch the Rangers, and brown will make a move that helps, however bagwell needs to stay away during these decisions and next offseason.
Pretty much expected the second game to be a bad offensive game for the Astros following the home run derby in the first game. But didn't expect beck to back fans of being shut out. Sheesh.
I figured if we lost 2 of 3 it would've been because France and Bielak sucking, turns out the offense was the sh**s
This series was the inverse of the Tampa series, we got blown out game 1, then shut them down games 2 and 3
Man, maybe they should have done something to help out the offense this past off-season. Seems like a missed opportunity, imo.
astros got humbled and they needed. if this doesn't do anything to spark the offense, they gonna stumble into the postseason. if they can get there.
The problem is not that we signed Abreu. We all thought that it was a most excellent signing at a more than fair price. The problem is we have a manager too stubborn and too stupid to get him out of the heart of the lineup.
Who in the system can play 1B. Clearly that’s a need. We don’t necessarily need to break the bank trading for that…can Diaz play 1B? I’d be fine with that. I’ve seen enough of Abreu.
