I know you have to expect some of this since this is primarily a Rockets forum... but I am sick and tired of seeing two completely independent things (in completely different sports, mind you) continue to be compared to each other. Did the Astros come in collectively out of shape? Has their gimmick "system" been scouted/dissected by everybody? Does their best player prioritize nightlife and women perhaps to a detriment? Lastly, do the Astros play in a league where more than half the teams make the playoffs? Honestly, the Astros could go .500 this year... which would be a disappointment... but it wouldn't come anywhere close to the turd the Rockets served up. The entire team basically quit on the season prior to training camp... if that is happening here, compare away.
Castro, another great at bat from the 7th spot in the lineup. Another DUMB move by Hinch. He makes a double switch with the pitcher. You know that usually you make that double switch to have that LAST out with the pitcher batting. Well, today Hinch made the double switch and move the pitcher one spot, INCREDIBLE. Now the pitcher is in the 8th spot and the LF in the 9th. INCREDIBLE.
Devenski is lookin good . His stuff is impressing me . I always thought he was a fringe 90's type of guy but the velo has been low 90's and the change up looks legit . Sure it could mostly just be that the Brewers have absolutely no scouting report on him but I like his work so far
