    True.

I guess the better way to state it is that I would've loved to see him pitch the CG SO.

Jimenez is in Bob Gibson mode this season. 8 more shutout innings. ERA down to 0.88. WHIP under 1.00. About to go to 9-1. In his only loss, he gave up 1 ER over 7 IP.

Roy's ERA is down to 2.35.

His WHIP is just barely over 1.00 (70 in 69).

And he has 69 Ks in 69 IP.

Randy Johnson was worth three pretty good prospects and he was pitching mediocre, Roy should do just as good.

It's a different era. Teams don't give away their top prospects anymore unless you include a boat load of cash in the deal.

    How bout that?

    More early run support.

Bush had to throw 40 pitches in the 1st.

It's been kind of going under the radar with the entire team struggling offensively but Bourn has been in a bit of a slump over the past month: .242/.296/.286 (AVG/OBP/SLG)

That's barely better than Manzella over the same period.

You know a pitcher is struggling when Cash successfully makes it to 1st base.

By the way, coming into today, Manzella had a .733 OPS over the last 10 games and an .844 OPS over the last 5. Terribly small sample sizes but it's significant given what Manzella had done over the first 25 games of the season, which was basically hit worse than just about every last qualified hitter in major league baseball.

Yea, nowhere for him and Feliz to hide anymore.

Feliz doesn't feel as much pressure being on the downside of his career and already have gotten paid.

It's now or never for Manzella. He probably never even gets this shot in most other organizations.

Myers has been amazing this year in working out of trouble.

Here's an interesting short read on Myers from 2008: http://www.hardballtimes.com/main/article/anatomy-of-a-player-brett-myers/

It talks about his 5-pitch arsenal, why he was struggling before he got sent down to AAA and what he did to fix it. I don't know where he's at right now as far as how he mixes up his pitches, but it's an interesting read even if a little old.

Hopefully we can score some runs on the worst bullpen in baseball(Actually assuming this to be true, they have to be bottom 5).

Bunting in front of Kevin Cash!

They are the 2nd worst bullpen.

I can't believe that Mills let Myers hit. He's thrown 97 pitches already.

All 3 Astro runs are unearned.

It seems like this has been the story of the Brewers for years. Error prone players all over the place.

    Pence stole a base.

And then Berkman can't even get him to 3rd.

    Edit: Steals another base!
