they score 2 with 0 on and 2 out in a critical inning, we score 0 with 3 on and no out in a critical inning.

    1. Time to pack it in and protect next year's 1st rounder.
    2. Denny's T-bone isn't that bad.

    Oh, come ON--you too???

Everyone repeat after me: the MLB draft is not the NFL draft.

My guess is that he is referring to finishing with a bad enough record so if the Astros sign any impact free agents, they won't lose a first round pick.

    Brocail needs to retire...now.

This guy has been putting up nothing but gas cans lately, even after more than a week of rest he is still not getting it done.

Of course, Pence also needs someone to teach him how to improve his swing at the plate, at least with Bourn people were talking to him telling him what to do and he has listened but Pence has done nothing but the same thing over and over.

That's exactly what I meant. Time to call Towles back up and start playing Bourn everyday. Don't rush Matsui back and let Berkman get some days off. Bring up any other decent prospects. Mid-market teams and below like the Astros need to get every edge they can, especially with the state of our farm system.
