Buccholz may have better stuff but he's been just as inconsistent as Wandy has been. To Wandy's credit, if he manages to only give up three runs through say 6 innings of work then I'd say he's done his job on the day. But you have to score at least a few runs to win a game and right now they got zero.
That's like choosing what would you rather swallow? Glass, or charcoal? I haven't seen enough of Sampson to feel confident in him. But I'm not a Wandy fan.

Well, you can't win 'em all, though they have to come close. This week IS the season for the 'Stros though; big series against St. Louis and Philly. We'll find out soon enough what this team's fate is.
