Just saw this on ESPN.com Page 2 and found it interesting...

    3. Craig Biggio
Best finish in MVP voting: fourth (1997)

At his peak, the guy did everything well: get on base, hit for power despite playing in the Grand Canyon, steal bases, get hit by pitches, win Gold Gloves. He'd never get hurt, but always had the dirtiest uniform on the field. In '97, he grounded into zero double plays. The year Pudge Rodriguez won the MVP, he grounded into 31. Just sayin'.

Wow. I never knew this. Bidge is the man. I guess this ability never rubbed off on Ausmus... ;)

Cincy and Philly both losing. This would be a big win for the Stros.

What a stupid play by Okha

Luke Scott just continues to get xtra base hits and swing the bat so well. When we have Huff going it really helps the whole lineup. He's very important to this team. Since the trade deadline he's hitting .327 4 hr 15 rbi.

Looks like were hitting the ball right now, hopefully Backe can settle down, he got pounded in the first and was fortunate to only give up one. (as he walks Okha on 4 pitches)

    WSH 6 PHI 0 5th
    PIT 5 CIN 1 5th

PIT 7 CIN 1 6th. Looks like if we can hold on we can be within 3 of CIN. Seson over, I don't think so. ;)

Some one tell me why Garner pulled Backe so early? Isn't he only around 80 something pitches? I thought that's what I heard Bill Brown say.

Also, he hasn't given up a hit yet this inning. He just induced a pop up to first base.

Yay Garner! Great choice bringing in Spring to give up the double with 1 pitch. LMAO.

He had 90 pitches this move makes no sense  Backe was pitching well.
