If he's ESTABLISHED, bring 'em up!

Send down Nieve, or Borkowski, because Zekes a more ESTABLISHED player with this ballclub.

Its like in any profession, whether you are better or not at your trade then the next guy, doesn't really matter, because it all about who is more established, which means who has been there longer. Thats the way old corporations stay afloat. You keep the old hand around and give him top priority over the new up and coming whippersnapper, no matter what.

its kinda like if someones having too much success too quick, leave him in double A, because we got Jason Lane and Morgan Enberg who are established prayer meeting fellas, and until your hand is forced, keep things the way they are no matter what they are.

How many times can Backe be on the DL in one season? I love that guy but now we have Wandy again. I hope he comes through. I just wish it would have been Sampson. Established really doesn't count for anything. Look a Hirsch. He should be low man on the totem pole but he's a starter. Maybe whatever Scott got into up there in Round Rock got into Rodriguez too. I guess we will find out tonight.

You hit it right on PR...Its becoming so obvious that they are tanking the season...All the moves they are making...Why do you keep putting Lidge out there night after night after night...He's like a race horse thats past his prime or has a broken leg. We need to take him to the farm and let him graze for the rest of his life or better yet we can do like the Eskimos do when someone gets old. Just put him on a block of ice and send him away into the long lost sea.... :D

Wandy's gonna get hammered. But we do score for him.
Why not bring Matt Albers back or even Taylor Bucholz. Albers was OK in his start, Bucholz could show up and pitch a shutout. Both would be better than friekin Wandy.

40 More Games to go , we can do this! How many wins would do the job out of the next 40? 25?

lets just say the Reds play .500 ball, which is what they have been doing most of the year.

We would need to go 24-16 to pass them. Totally doable.

However, we have to worry about the other 80 teams in the wild card hunt too.

Backe pitched 6.1 giving up 2 runs. Springer got out of a jam in the 7th. Miller got the first out in the 8th. Then Garner brought in Lidge, he proceeded to get into a pretty big jam, but struck out he next 2 to get out of it. We wasted a great opportunity to score in the 9th and they sent Lidge out for the 9th, he put 2 on, got 2 outs and they brought in Wheeler to face Prince Fielder, and he hit a walkoff single.
