    Peacock's line is not going to look as pretty as it could've been, but he was great through 6.

    Peacocky was great. He clearly cant go 7, hope Tolliver doesnt pitch like a scared ass again with such a big lead.

    I enjoyed the Mike Stanton/Kalas conversation during the game about relievers, and that Stanton felt their main duty was to come in with runners on base and be able to work out of it. Unfortunately, last series we allowed 7 out of 7 to score.

    Moving forward, having effective arms like Morton and Peacock, both who seem more effective in short doses, in the pen in the playoffs will make this bullpen look a ton better. But considering the mentality it takes for a seasoned reliever to come in and be successful in those types of situations, I'd love to see a pitcher like McHugh (or a traded for starter) really eat up some starting innings in the second half so we can see Peacock & Morton react in the pen in crucial situations with runners on base.

    Either way, it's great to have strategic conversations like this in early July. #WhatsOurMagicNumber?
