No he didn't. He looked at a ball way too low and way too outside. Not even close. These umps have been a joke all night long.

Well if he wants to come back...great, but it just looked like he was done as he walked off and took the ball....

I would not tell him no if he wanted to come back...

He is a great pitcher, but he can't give you more than 5 innings on an everyday scenario.

BS last strike call and we were real unlucky with the 6th but the Astros win streak and the Cards losing could not carry on forever. Oh well, good try.

Well, obviously its up to him... its been up to him/"his decision" ever since before he first became an Astro.

Its just the way you said "let him walk", that had me thinking you'd turn him away even if he wanted to come back.

Why couldn't this team have lost one of those early games to St. Louis? :(

I was fine with the Astros season as it was 10 days ago... stuff like that happens. To end a season like this (potentially) is one of the most painful things imaginable. Ugh.

Time to watch the scoreboard tomorrow afternoon and hope that the Brew Crew can get the win and give us a shot back in the arm with a better chance.

Still Believe. This will only make it sweeter when we make the historic comeback.

    Don't give up now.

Well, they only have to lose 2 of 3. But still, incredibly unlikely to happen, yes.

Again, the Cards do NOT have to lose all 3. Under your scenario, we would win outright. If we win our next to and they lose 2 out of 3 we force a tiebreaker. And I definitely like our chances in that. God I WOULD LOVE too see MMP rocking in that game. Please make it so!!!!!

It's not over guys. Stros must win their last 2 and I just want Milwaukee to take 1 of the next 2 from the Cards (hopefully tomorrow). That would force a San Fran game possibly forcing the Cards to start that crappy Jason Marquis guy again.

This was an extremely frustrating game, but let's not lose hope.

It would be Reyes, not Marquis.

Quite frankly, I could care less how you feel about me.

Am I still going to watch tomorrow? Of course. Is it going to take yet another miracle now? Yes it is. As I said, St. Louis just got the monkey off their back. All they have to do is win two out of three.

Our best chance was to keep the pressure on. This was a very bad day, whether you care to admit it, or not.

BTW, what, exactly, what were you saying 20 games ago, eh? Pay attention to who the true houston fans are, or simply don't say anything.

    Brewers cut it to 8-3.

The real killer this yr. is going to be that Pujols HR vs. the Padres the other night.

I think the "looking at strike 3" is what hurts the most. Good luck, stros...I'll be watching. It just sucks that we reverted back to our true colors when it counted the most.

Still have faith, but this kills me
