I think this is Dusty's way of trying to get Diaz going and "going with his gut" today. Not saying it's the right thing to do though.
Alvarez and Tucker are the RBI guys. I want them somewhere between 3-6. I don't want Tucker 2nd. Dusty has the mindset of not shifting everyone in a lineup because one player at the top of the lineup has an off day but I don't see the big deal of moving everyone up one spot. Bregman 2nd, followed by Alvarez, Yuli, Tucker...problem solved.
Yep, that is definitely the lineup mindset of the 70s, 80s and 90s, so it shouldn’t surprise any of us that is what Dusty does I would never want one of my 2 best hitters hitting 6th or 7th, and I damn sure would never be any Niko by god Goodrum in the two hole But it’s just what we are gonna get so hopefully we are talented enough to overcome this kind of crap. With LA looking legit it does worry me this year where it didn’t last year
Framber looks on, but Gausman's splitter looks completely untouchable today. Hopefully our guys can jump on some of those early fastballs.
Glad to see Springer get the leadoff walk rather than the HR this game. Still cant believe we let him beat us yesterday by himself.
