    The Canuck announcers believe.

Correa hit that ball as hard as you can hit a ball, looks like a tapper in the boxscore.

Man Correa destroyed that ball. Reddick should have stayed in place but hard to judge it when a ball is smacked like that.

rough one. That's us getting a little greedy, wanting a jump to score on a double. Ah well, next time Josh!

The base running has to improve for this team. That's the type of stuff that can really hurt in tighter post season games.

Does Evan Gattis crouch too much in the batter's box? He looks like the hunchback out there. He just seems to crouch more than other players. At a minimum, he's a croucher.

Reddick took his secondary lead, then reflexively moved toward second...the ball was already being thrown to 1B at that point. If he had hugged the bag, we'd all be wondering why he didn't score on Correa's double.

Springer is absolutely destroying the baseball right now... I remember last year when people were saying he is expendable/not worth re-signing. LOL

That's what I meant. Can't really blame Reddick too much there.

    NO JINX:

Mike Fiers has not allowed a HR in his last 44 IP. I cannot explain Mike Fiers.

Fiers sure has turned his season around. HE has caught the same lightning that Marwin and Jake have this special season. THAT SAID the offense really needs to give him more than one run. Fiers is not a 7 shutout inning kind of pitcher.

I would love to watch Gibbons, Terry Collins, Hal Lanier, Jeff Bannister and Billy Martin sitting around a table drinking beer. The O/U on fistfights and broken windows would have to be incredibly high.

Also Mike Stanton has made me realize what we have in Blummer. Kalas, Blum, Morales is an all star crew and we are lucky to have them.

Glad they gave Bregman an error on that play. That play needs to be made.
