Certainly true. But the original statement was that his starts were an automatic loss.

In other AL West news, Angels almost came back down from 8-1 going into the 9th. They scored 6 in the top of the 9th and had runners on 1st and 3rd with 2 outs before striking out.

Rangers are hot right now and their young pitcher Chi-Chi Gonzales looks like a stud. 14 2/3 innings of no-run baseball and pitched a complete game shutout in only his 2nd start.

A's also debuted their switch-pitcher. Pretty cool thing to see.

Yeah I use Fanduel and Draft Kings. Thought I might as well cash in if the Astros are going to keep marching Hernandez ass out there.

I know it's not an automatic loss, it just feels like it will be one when he pitches. My 'opinion' does not make me a girl. If it did I'd be fondling my own super awesome breasts right now.

I look forward to the Stros every day, just not when he pitches.

Yep. Never a good feeling before the game when Hernandez is pitching. Too bad Feldman got hurt.

    Keuchel
    Mchugh
    Obie
    McCullers
    Feldman

would be pretty solid for now. What can you do though.

    Moar Villar... less Carter.

What the f**k is with them and Villar? I can tolerate his presence on the team (barely) but he is basically an everyday player now.

And Carter has an OPS over 1.000 over the last 13 games, so yes benching him right now makes total sense.

Building up trade value before Correa comes up?

I can't see them keeping him on the 40 man roster after that promotion.

Hoping Velasquez gets a shot soon or maybe Woj gets another shot while we wait for Feldman.

3 bench players means the reserves get a lot of time. I'm not too concerned with Villar, but that could be because his time left is short.

Hernandez is struggling big time. It's always one inning.

This would be the perfect time to bring up correa. My maths show me that just the holy presence of correa alone would bring down hernadez's Era by .1

we will win these next 2 games.

It seems that Altuve has gone in the toilet ever since moving to the 2 spot. I know Springer has improved his OPS leading off, but I would like to see Altuve and Springer swapped.

Altuve was struggling before being moved out of the leadoff spot. He's been bad for about a month now.

And we would be at least 7 and 4 with another pitcher.

Imagine if we dont make the playoffs with a difference of 1 game.
Is time to make a move here.

The OBP, he gets a lot of walks, just the oppositve of Altuve.

Altuve is NOT a good leadoff hitter unless he hits .350 or more.

He has was moved to the 2 spot on May 9th. His BA and OPS have gone down dramatically since. He just seems like a total non factor after starting out on a MVP campaign.

Ashby thinks every fly ball is a home run. Like the fans at games do.

Agree on Carter, especially when righties are hitting over .300 against Hutchison
