It's often Middle Middle too. While not universal, this seems to be typical of a maturing power hitter: 1. Swing at everything and hits a lot of them. 2. Pitchers stop throwing strikes and the K rates go up. 3. Stops swinging and OBP goes up. 4. Pitchers start mixing up pitches, hitter slumps. 5. Hitter adjusts or becomes a one hit wonder. Jordan is at stage 4. Hopefully he adjusts and can hit strikes and lay off balls without sacrificing power (Bat speed, not necessarily HR). Bregman appears to have reverted to stage three and maybe sliding toward 4.
