THREE dubs would be awesome and offset the Angels series. Astros gotta stop playing "catch up" in attempt to rectify the foolishness of their previous game. I'd take two wins right now though.
I like this A's team, they've got heart. Having said that, I hope the 'stros tear it out of them and eat it while it still beats...
Can’t stand these west coast start times. It’s the worst part of having been placed in the AL Western division
Yeah... the start times have improved the past two seasons though. Most of these games were 9:10pm damn near every time -- now, none of them are. The earlier 30 minutes makes a decent difference. Hopefully the Mavs are down 20 by first pitch
Joey is definitely getting sent down for Abreu. Problem is he's got nothing left to prove in AAA and we've already got a pretty good idea that he'll be a valuable utility guy in the majors. It's really too bad.
JV. good luck with getting more than 2 runs for support. bregman still at the 4. chas starting again even though he just go back from his injury. i want super Fido
This is the first time I can remember that Dubon doesn't get a start when JV starts. Last JV start Dubon was in left and Jake in CF, itself a change. I think Jake Meyers is a "big boy."
The OF is just as it should be tonight, our best chance by far to get back into it is for Chas and Alex to get going strong so Chas needs to play. I would much rather see Loper at 1B than Jon, but it isn’t going to happen. Loper really needs to go back down and play every day. He hasn’t had an at bat in 5 days. Even if they don’t want him at 1B, you could have injuries, Chas never gets going, a number of situations where we need him and Espada would have to play him, so he needs to be somewhere he will play I still don’t think we will bring Abreu back, but if we do our chances of making the playoffs take an even bigger hit
