Dear Astros, Please, take all 4. No messing around this series. I don't want to hear any Benny Hill music in my head while I see what looks to be Bad News Bears style baseball. I know you guys can do it. Thank you. Dear Dodgers, Please, be the anti-Rays. I know we've had our differences over the years (though we did share Josh Fields... ), but it's time to put that aside for one weekend. The Astros could use a loss or two by the Rangers, and unfortunately the Rays disappeared recently, so now it's your turn. Also, the Diamondbacks and Giants are right behind you, so it's time to put some space between you and them. P.S. It's so gross to even think that I would root for the Dodgers, but here we are...may I never have to do it again
It's hard to say a series in July is a must win, but the Astros MUST win 3 of 4. A sweep would be better. With a little help from the Dodgers, they van still finish the Rangers series leading the ALW. I predict both Yordan and Altuve are activated after this series in time for Texas and maybe sometime during it if they lose a game or two.
Should take 3 at a minimum. I’m really looking for a sweep but I’m sure we will figure out a way to drop one. A split is a fail
We're in dire need of wins and losses Houston wins / Arlington losses Sweeping a 4-game is difficult. Win the series, while ARL losses theirs. Looks like Blanco, Brown, or bully on Sunday, Hope Diaz catches at least two games but that's probably asking too much.
Baseball is fickle and anything can happen. That said, Oakland + 2 LHPs in next 2 games = Chomp Chomp Chomp
A 4-game series with the A's would seem to be just what the dr ordered for this team. Hope it doesn't come back and bite us! We need at least 3 out of 4.
I remember we were swept at home by Baltimore and Detroit a couple of years ago, so nothing should be taken for granted.
He is rehabbing from an oblique. Anyone who pays attention should have expected this. And it's the right move. The important thing is : expected to be back Monday for Texas season.
