Bregman isn't good enough protection behind Yordan. Teams are going to consistently start pitching around Yordan until they either put Tucker back behind him or add a better bat at the deadline to put behind him. I know Dusty doesn't like too many lefties in a row but it's starting to take the bat out of the hands of your best hitter.

 

Find you someone that loves you as much as the Astros love stranding a leadoff double.

 

This month, Chaz is tied with Yordan for the team lead in OBP along with a 0.950+ OPS. Weren't people complaining when Dusty didn't go with the hot hand?

 

Who would think that on July 26th, Bregman and Yuli would have a combined 19 homers.
