    It would be nice for the Astros to sweep the A's, the Dodgers to sweep the A's, and then Astros sweep the A's again just so all the people that bet on the A's for the World Series would know their money was lost early.

    Ditto for the Angels. And as for the Rangers, any WS bets there were lost before they even finish the first game.

    And so I will be the first to say it for the 2021/22 season.

    Did you see the end of the game?

    Blue Jays don't need Kirby Yates. They have some dude named Merryweather. Throws 99 with a changeup at 80-82. He was NASTY and had an immaculate inning through 8 pitches. Ended up striking out the side on 11 pitches with 10 strikes.

    They extended Yuli so that's as far as they were going to address 1B. We get a year of Straw and then hopefully Leon in the OF in 2022.
