Better hold this lead. Not happy with Straw not tagging, poor decision-making. Cost us a run, could haunt us.

Straw, Toro, biagina, and devo are my least favorite players for me to watch this year. Very disappointed with Straw this year.

Ah...nothing like Correa to kill a potentially big inning. 17 men left on base. I sh_t you not!

At least the Astros can win a game unlike the Rockets tonight. Good riddance.

    The Good:
    Brantley still doing Brantley things.
Brooks Raley continuing to be reliable for us.
Pressly slams the door on Oakland again!
We FINALLY defeated Oakland in their house!

    The Bad:

    Gurriel's bat cooling down.
Paredes with terrible command, but at least he had some luck, and, importantly, already had an out from Raley when coming in.
Idiotic, and completely inexcusable baserunning on Straw. Not staying on the bag to tag cost us a run.

    The Ugly:

DeJong's disastrous third inning. A reminder why I'm not really confident in this team. Can only go so far with crap arms.

They didn't leave 17 men on base. They left 7. You're misinterpreting the column that shows how many were on base each time a batter made an out. Assume the first 3 hitters in an inning walk and the next 3 strike out. They left 3 on, but hitters 4-6 individually left 3 on, so that column will show 9. Kind of hard to leave 17 on when you only have 13 total baserunners and 5 of them score.. I sh_t you not.

Even though 17 would be a crazy high number, I wouldn't put it past the Astros lol.

They went 3-24 with RISP the other day, so don't feel bad for believing it.

Look at "team LOB" next time. @Surfguy

Technically, I'm not wrong. Your talking Team LOB and I'm talking individual LOB.

It's down in the boxscore around GIDP, RISP, etc...

At one point, the Stros were losing 4-0 and the M's were up on SF ... was looking at a 0.5 game lead. coming out of the night up 2.5 is a big relief ... Got to start putting it together though
