Agreed. This version of the Astros has just lost too much to be much more than an average baseball team. Dusty hasn’t done wonders with them either, but they just are not talented enough or good enough to overcome the myriad of issues that they’ve had to deal with all season. It’s a nearly perfect storm of **** they’ve had to overcome, and they just aren’t doing it at the moment.
Mostly agreed... but there’s really no other battle-tested teams in the AL. And just less than one week ago, they did have their high water mark for this abortion of a season. If they can get anything out of Verlander going forward... or anything out of Altuve for that matter... they have a punchers chance of beating any AL team in any sort of series, provided they’re not playing in Oakland.
oh my god haha . i just checked the gameday , this A's pitchers lacks all control bwahaha 3 runs on walks
***, really Straw. Swing on first pitch against a pitcher than can’t throw a strike. Dumbshit!!! Sorry, so frustrating even when we get something good going.
Baseball has a problem when it takes 9 minutes to figure out if a player was hit by a pitch or not...
The dirt hit him. It was obvious, but at least they got it right. And, point of order for everyone: ***PLEASE NO ROCKETS TALK IN THIS THREAD*** I got interested in this and paused the Rox for a few minutes, and am running behind.
Looks like the GARM is going to be a hellhole for a while. Even this pessimist doesn't want any part of what I expect over there if the Rockets go on to lose (down 10 as I write this). That is where the world class pessimists will be for a few days.
Hey, I haven't suggested we move Springer down in the order in over two years. But no. Even I dont like that crowd. Consider me a non-participatory and absent ex-member if you must
