Ray Fosse certainly likes to talk.

For those wondering why Marisnick is starting tonight...he has started every game in CF (except for the 2 he was in the minors) when Cole has pitched. There is a method to Hinch's madness since Cole tends to be a fly ball pitcher.

    10 runs, first 16 batters

Your depiction is slightly better though

The only bad number is Cole's ERA rising.

The 0.55 GB/FB ratio probably factored into Hinch's madness.

I forgot how quick Rose was coming home... I knew it was bad, a lot written about it but Rose was hauling.

Yeah... if he could duplicate the approach he had in Cuba, he would be a star here. He doesn’t walk but he has about as natural ability to hit the ball hard as anyone.

That's one hell of a stretch bob. I'm not necessarily saying thats not what hinch is thinking, but if it is, it's a hell of a stretch. do you not agree??

    He's a perfect RBI guy, hitting 4-5-6.

No....the Astros are the most analytical team in the league. In no way is it a stretch to get your best defensive center fielder in the game for an extreme fly ball pitcher. Considering it has happened every single time (except for the 2 games he was in the minors), it's clearly not a coincidence. Prior to today, Cole was averaging 9 fly ball outs per game.

He is, but it wouldn’t kill him to mix in a weekly base on balls.

On the other end you have the Cubs sending their catcher and relief pitcher into the outfield during switches at different points.

even if he's your worst offensive player? There is absolutely no way he would be in the lineup if we didn't have a day game tomorrow.
