Still not at all worried. Like I said, they will lose the lead for a while but when the playoffs come they will be hitting on all cylinders.
This is a big reason why I'm just not a live-and-die sports fan anymore. Part of it is age, part of it is finding other pastimes, but I totally invested emotionally for a long, long time - not saying I don't anymore - but I just can't commit like that, it's not healthy. I'll be over this weekend when it's over. Unless the Texans lose...then it'll take an extra day or 2.
Hopefully. Tuve has some heating up to do a small does Correa and Cleveland is playing Above their heads. They are hopefully peaking now
I hear that. I'm with you. I'm seasoned and conditioned by disappointment. Guessing I wouldn't be that way if I lived in and rooted for sports teams from most other major cities. We are a bit of an anomaly.
Guaranteed, come October we will all be pointing at this thread and laughing. This isn't your average Astros team. They will start getting locked-in two weeks before the playoffs.
I'm getting tired of hearing you guys state this team will turn it around when Correa returns or come October when you know for a fact the weakness of this team is the god damn, mother F'ING BULLPEN!!!!
That was a turning point in the game imo. The bullpen is struggling right now. Peacock has been a quality starter this year and shouldn't have been given such a quick hook. Hinch appears to still not trust Peacock. Hinch would not have pulled Kuechel or Verlander in that spot. Peacock should have at the very least been given the opportunity to finish that inning.
Yes, I questioned it as soon as it happened. Brad gets the quick hook while others have to pound it in his skull with multiple walks and runs scored.
I dunno...would you rather be a Yankee fan, Sawks, Lakers, Patriots, LeBronistans, Bay Area fan? Would that improve things? Not sure it would for me, not sure I'd care that much more or less. I would certainly like to get this damn chip off out collective shoulder just so we could find out.
exactly how I feel. Even with football...i no longer have that strong.. I no longer invest too much into them any more. I hope one of out teams will break through in my life time. ... if not..meh Now... the Texans better win..
I'm thinking it would be really easy to be a Yankees fan. But I hate those jackasses and I love the astros solely because they represent Houston.
