Send Asher down to AAA please. Bring up Straily. I don't think I've ever seen Asher induce a ground ball. He also struggles with control. Back to the minors with you!
With it looking like the Astros could be good for the first time in forever, the club should have a shorter leash on stop gap players like Wojo if they don't perform.
Gattis-Carter back to back is a killer. These guys are blowing chunks to start the season. You almost know at least 1 if not both will get out. Asher has no fire--he's up 3 in the 4th, needs to kick it up a notch. Can't expect to stay in the big leagues if he's so lackadaisical at the mound.

Fcking disgusting. It's just idiotic that in this day and age, umps are still choosing whether pitches are balls or strikes. Every pitch is either a ball or a strike...there's no judgment necessary. The silly tracker they use on tv is more accurate than umps, there's no reason not to just get rid of the blind slobs behind home plate and go electronic.
