He really needs to take it easy on those high pitches...ridiculous how many of those he chases. I'll take that last hit, but we'd be better off with some plate discipline.
Well, the issues are certainly magnified when they're ALL slumping at the same time... but that is not always going to be the case. Plenty of positive signs for all of them on this road trip.

You guys that want this team to be a bunch of count working contact hitters might as well tune out. That isn't who they are. This team was built on power hitting guys who will also strike out a lot. That isn't for everyone I suppose It's dang sure working so far though!!!!!!! Let's close this out now!
Would have like them to get those insurance runs across the plate. Team still strikes out too much but they are starting to get clutch hits they usually haven't been getting in recent years.
Nothing wrong with hitting for power...but you need to be smart. When you have a runner on third with zero outs, just make contact. No need to go deep on every swing.
