Qualls said after the game 'the A's are my daddy'

He's posting up a 27.00 ERA against Oakland, but has a 1.44 against all others.

    Jeez.

The hitting coach cant be blind to the fact that Singleton pops up, and pops up, and pops up. Maybe I am wrong, but consistently getting under the ball points to something mechanical? Something correctable?

Sorry, but Coco Crisp sounds more like a breakfast cereal than a baseball player :p

Three consecutive bad plays by Gonzales at 3rd base.

Does this begin the narrative for Lawless's bad calls?

Not much Lawless (or any manager) can do about a booted ground ball, a line drive that most 3rd basemen would have caught and a boneheaded play on a bunt.

And, to Marwin's credit, he put down a nice sacrifice.

Yeah, I don't really understand this either.I understand wanting Marwin in the lineup, he has been a much better hitter than Dominguez this year, but Petit isn't a long term option at SS.

FWIW Gonzalez has had a quitely good year.

    Damn :(

They have no other choice if they choose to rest Dominguez. That's more of a Luhnow decision.

Has Geovany Soto always fallen forward and had to catch himself every time he throws the ball back to the pitcher? I feel like I would have noticed that before given all the games Soto played against the Astros as a member of the Cubs.

Jose intentionally walked with 1st base occupied. More to it than that I realize, but I love it
