I've been on vacation for the last 10 days and haven't followed the team. You mean he got his average all the way up to (almost) the Mendoza line? The season is saved!
It's .212 now thank you very much, you've always had it out for Carter  Watching Peacock pitch is like pulling teeth, even when he pitches well it feels like we're just waiting for the dam to burst. I was shocked when he got out of the 1st unscathed. I know there are a lot of factors at play beyond who is the better pitcher, but Obie really needs to be in the rotation ahead of him at this point.
Carter is interesting. His K% is down, but so is his walk%. He has a very low BABIP, but also has a much higher ISO. He's swing more in and & out of the zone. Making contact more in the zone and less out of the zone.
Probably no real answer to this (except for 'Porter gonna Porter'), but why does Porter insist on batting Castro and his sub .230 average second, yet won't bat Corporan and his .250+ average second?
Hasn't that been the only spot Castro's had more success? He started doing a little better once they moved him there. Better question is why is he still on my fantasy team?!?
That's probably it, albeit a small sample size, however, what I have found with Porter is that his logic is very inconsistent.
Small sample size (38 ab's) so not sure it means anything, but he is hitting .333 when batting 2nd this year. I'm not a huge believer that it "should" make a difference, but some guys are pretty mental, so if he is having success there, I wouldn't mess with it (although i'm sure Porter will)
And naturally they will put Grossman there instead. Porter's lineup cards confuse the crap out of me. Krauss fourth?
Not a fan of Porter But, with Fowler and Springer both out, there is not a man alive that could make a good lineup card with the current group
