    Season over.

Bullpen sucks, offense sucks, the Astros are just a team of losers minus Roger and Roy right now.

Trade Roger and Andy for prospects.

Well I see we're continuing the same scenario...no run support for Roger, bullpen blows it, etc...

Doesn't matter what trade Purpura makes. This team has so many holes in it, no one player is going to plug them.

There is nothing logical about what we are seeing tonight.

We don't owe Roger crap. He's being financially compensated. He wasn't going to make or break our team. Our bats are in control of that.

This game is just a train wreck, from the umpiring to the management to the players. Sending Ensberg was bad, but even worse was Burke taking a last second hack at ball 4. Then the ball 4 call for the Tigers that could've been an inning ending DP. Then yanking Clemens, which I felt was a mistake.

And through all that, it was still tied until the bullpen blows it again.

Use Nieve and Backe for late inning relief. Try to trade for a good contact/on-base guy. Ensberg is **** right now, and who knows when Preston will go cold again. Berkman is our only dependable, consistent hitter...we need to try to find another that is consistent at least.

Purpura? Trade? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Oh. Excuse me.

Man I'm glad Walkie's batting third for RBI situations like this one.

And without the errors, this is still a 1-0 game. Uncanny.

Stros are just playing sloppy, poor fundamental baseball. Cashing in runners on 3rd with no out is just a must happen thing in a 0-0 game.

Munson better be in the lineup tommarrow. He has the second most power on the club behind Berkman. Ensberg sucks. Bench his ass untill he makes some adjustments.

I get your point but you do know he is not doing this for free or on a discount?

You do know that we are paying him $22M (prorated) right?

We do not owe him anything [in the form of thanking him] but his salary - the guys on the field are doing their best.

    That was so predictable.

I am the biggest optimist, but even I cant see this ship being saved. I so hope I am wrong. Whatever the result, I know this, I will still wake up every morning be excited that there is game that nite and will probably watch or tivo for later.

Here is to wishing for a miracle for the third season in a row.

The Stros are looking pretty bad these days. Might be time for the Chronicle to break out the tombstone again.

Munson has an OPS of 0.713. He is 4 for 33 this month, for a fantastic .121 average and .565 OPS.
