I'd love to see the true numbers over the course of this season (not DRS). It honestly feels like the shift has hurt us this year, whereas last year it saved us so many times.

They've still been a much more relevant and successful franchise then the Astros in recent years.

The Astros haven't been relevant in a decade plus before last year so that's pretty much what I mean. The stretch between 2010 to 2014 was shameful.

 

I am wondering this as well. Seems we create as many hittable gaps and in the one late yesterday, the entire left side of the infield was wide open. Even I could plunk one that direction...

 

Rangers are literally bizarro world Astros - we get the lead, immediately struggle against their worst hitters. Rangers get the lead, immediately put down our bottom of the order.
