If he hits his cutoff man and keeps odor at 1b, that would have just been a double play ball

    professional hitters get professional results.

Hell, replacement level hitters get results too.

we're a dumb team compared to the rangers. it's the biggest difference considering we have around four .200 hitters

But no worries right? Cause he used to be good a few years ago so let's keep trotting him out there and not worrying about how he hurts the team in just about every aspect of the game.

He was good a couple of years ago, can't afford to get rid

We know you hate him bro

And if we had a good alternative then i'd definitely be on board with him only playing vs LHP

As it is, I would have rather seen Kemp in there tonight, but it's not like that is a great option...

Last week. Look at his strikeout rate this year. Not sure who should bat third but he looks lost and chases too many stupid pitches this year. Praying it's a sophomore slump but it just looks like he's trying way too hard and not letting the pitches come to him.

Not sure what the ground rules are in Arlington, but that ball was easy to get to

Heck if he was smart, he would have dug it out and threw Valbuena out at 3rd, it's not like windmill was gonna tell him to stay at 2nd

I was referring to the send him down post. That's stupid.

Yeah he doesn't look like the fearless kid who came up and stormed the MLB. No doubt. He hasn't been bad, he's just been average and that's below even tempered expectations. This is far from unusual for someone who is just finishing a years worth of mlb at bats. He'll figure it out.

If Valbuana hustled the all the way, he'd be on 3rd. He'd been waaay closer passed 2nd when the call was made.

Then Gattis rips the ball to left and a guy who isn't even a left fielder makes a hell of a play

Let's win two games somehow, and get the F out of this place

Doesn't matter, if the ball was deemed "stuck" then it's a ground rule double

First baseman should've made the play.

Ball went under his armpit, straight through

    3 unassisted

    That's too bad.

Still, shame on Valbuana for not hustling.
