Not for this series, but I wonder if Gattis could learn to play 1B?

Kemp DHing with Gattis C is the main change I would make.

Man Luhnow needs to trade for a 1B or bring Bregman up and move Val to 1B.

Castro's .848 OPS vs RHP is second on the team behind only Jose. Assuming he is healthy now and over the illness, i'd have a hard time sitting him against a righty

I get that, but Castro's timing looked off and this series is one that I would rather not see anybody in the lineup trying to shake of rust.

Optimistically, I will say WLLW. I hate the pitching matchups except for the last one, but we really don't hit any of these pitchers well. Let's take the first game and go from there.

Huge differences between now and the first matchup (and the 2nd half last season). Besides better pitching, 1) we have more hitters playing well and 2) we're playing well on the road.

We can take 2 games this series.

    Maybe get his Japan jersey.

Kinda boring looking, but would separate DAL greatly.

Shoutout to Correa and his recent defense.

Unless I missed something in the, maybe, 4 innings missed the last 2 weeks... he hasn't booted anything in a while or made a bad throw.

Tonight's game is huge. Set the tone against the guy that owns you.

90% of the posts thus far analyzing the lineup and the hitting... when the main factor tonight will be whether or not the "good" Fiers shows up.

    Obviously that's greatly important

But we simply can't get shut down vs Lewis again tonight...can't

Would agree if Marwin had showed ANYTHING vs righties this year, ANYTHING

Hopefully it works out and both Marwin and Castro have nice games tonight

Would love to see Correa cut back on the strikeouts - seems like he's been much more prone to it lately.

Ban the grays. Only orange on the road.

sure... But that really doesn't matter if Fiers can't hold their offense down.

Much like yesterday's game, they can ride out whatever issues they have against the starting pitcher and put runs up late when it's a battle of the bullpens (The one area the Astros have the advantage). But the starter needs to get them there.
