Martes was all over the place but he muddled through a decent start. Sonny Gray just cant seem to get good results despite solid peripherals. Ive been concerned about that all year. Needless to say this outing didn't make me feel better about sending a big package to get him.

Diaz being on the roster is a bad thing, but much like the game we blew to KC, Hinch really wanted to rest some guys. Thankfully it worked out.
Great win. I fell asleep before oakland came up in the 9th. Woke up this morning and had to make sure we held on. We did. Good win.
