Technically he right in couple senses. We are 1 game ahead of last years pace (were 4-11 last year after 15 games). Last year after 15 games, we had given up 82 runs. This year its 69. But last year we had scored 61, and only 44 this year. The overall differential is -4.
I know people say it's still early but we're gonna make it 4 in a row for #1 picks. The division, the talent...just not a good situation.
Yeah, as constructed right now, they're still the worst team in baseball (even if they're better than last year's team). That being said, I expect a lot more roster turnover as the year goes on. If those called up players start to perform well, the team will start looking less abysmal.
