Good news.. not his arm, not his head… just every other aspect of what you need to be a good pitcher (stamina, conditioning, mechanics, leg strength).
0-2 2 out ends up being a walk. Huge issue this year. Javier ain’t right though. If they’re able to trade for a SP, shut him down or put him in the pen for a few weeks.
He hasn’t pitched in 2 weeks. Thats as close to shutting somebody down without them having to get re-stretched with multiple rehab assignments, etc.
Javier is pretty weak if he can't handle a starter's innings at his age. Maybe he needs a better off season program. I know he hasn't had this kind of a workload before but come on.
