    If they were able to get Diaz and Maton for Straw, why are they still holding on to Meyers with the condition of the team right now? Maybe other teams don't want to give up much for Meyers in this market

    He’s 27… had a really awful injury that sapped a lot of his hitting/throwing ability for a long time… and now he’s really just floundered while his competition (Chas, Julks) has not.

    Other teams can see all of this too.

    I don’t think the rest cured Javier. These are all hittable pitches and he’s topping out at 92. Likely no movement, no spin, basically high fastballs (vs. invisiball).
