()usty only sees that Urquidy is a fly ball pitcher and Dubon is a better defensive CFer. At least there is some reasoning behind it. But we have three players on the bench that are hitting better than those penciled in. I'd like to see a little more balance between hitting and fielding.
Dusty was mentioning he had what Alvarez has with his hands, and if it were the playoffs Alvarez would be there. It's just about playing through the 'discomfort'. If that's the case, I would just let Alvarez chill for the next 3 weeks, no baseball no basketball with Team Spain.
He didn't even attempt to run home so the Angels said ok thanks we'll do an around the horn double play. 100% he should have run home and of course he'd been out but it would prevent a double play and if he can make them throw it a few times then Dubon could have ended up on 3rd and Hensley 2nd with just one out.
What you do in that instance is break and then stop, make the 3rd baseman think about what's he is going to do and then when he commits to the around the horn DP you break for home and see if 2nd base can make the much more difficult play at the plate.

If Yuli is starting every damn playoff game I'm gonna pull my hair out. I don't want him to rot on the bench, but it's utterly ridiculous he is still being given this treatment.
The Astros have reigned in Dusty's stupidity the last 2 postseasons and we played our best team. I'm hoping that's what happens this year also. If we get bounced knowing we didn't play our best team possible heads should roll.
