It's REAL, It happens when a League INSULTS it's fans. NO INTEREST! BTW, is JJ Watts still playing in the NFL?
While I know my spreadsheets are a source of amusement (that's OK with me BTW), here is one compiling the best dWAR at the SS position over the last 22 years. Ah! Back when the NFL was worth watching. Actually, I watched him in HS and College too. A MAN playing boys at every level.
I haven't watched the NFL since the Oilers blew that 29 pt (whatever it was) halftime lead in Buffalo. So I understand giving up on a sport.
It was so bad, the Oilers had to leave town. Vs Buffalo by the way. Same guy led both all time college comeback and NFL comeback. The ultimate trivia question.
Right handed line-up tonight against the lefty. Neither Alvarez nor Tucker have any problem hitting lefties. If the Oilers win that game and lets say go on to win the Super Bowl, you don't think there's enough residual love coming off that Super Bowl that they all find a way to work out a plan to stay? If the Texans don't blow a 24 point lead and the Texans go on to beat the Titans at home and go to the Super Bowl does Watson demand to be traded?
There are lots of ifs that would have to have been satisfied in order for the Oilers to not have left. If Adams hadn't already ruined the Astrodome. If Bob Lanier wasn't mayor. If the Oilers didn't go from 12-4 to 2-14. If Adams was willing to shoulder more of the stadium burden...etc.
