big ups to the players for carrying on with their hearts worried about their people back home. I didn't feel any emotion when they lost the lead last night nor when they got the lead back in the 8th today. Always nice to see pujols not succeed against us though.
Yikes...certainly not his sharpest work but mission accomplished. Should have been a sweep, but won the series and the offense appears to be awakening from it's slumber.
Good win....it is an absolute adventure to watch us try to protect a lead and close out a game. There is no lead safe as of late. With 30 games left, if we played .500, it would take near perfection from the Angels to overtake us. Feel good about the division of course but, we MUST have some more pitching if we are going to matter.
Before yesterday they had been the best bullpen in the whole MLB in August. Plus just got an All-Star reliever back in Will Harris. The bullpen is more than fine, rotation has been good enough, and the offense is finally starting to regain its form. The Astros are in a tremendous spot to make a run, as they still lead the AL race by 5.5 games and the playoffs are mostly a crapshoot.
I think he was referring to when cangregero used to post here. Eventually things got way out of hand and he was banned. Now the same thing is happening there due to his antics. Paranoid much?
