When to pull your ace has got to be one of the most difficult decisions for a manager. Especially when Keuchel is such a ground ball pitcher and can get a double play ball to get himself out of a jam quickly. My saying one hitter too long is hindsight, but it was the fact the second single came on a pitch he left way up in the zone is why I felt that way.

I remember there was a time when Norris was Houston's No. 2 or No. 3 starter, and I was praying he could be a piece of their rebuild. God this franchise has come a long way over the past 5-6 years...

Giles is the closer. Devo does everything important and sometimes closes

    If Devo wants the job,
yeah. Would have been his best "save", and a save in every sense of the word.

Devenski is great. These are the sort of situations where things can change organically... especially with the setup man job up in the air with Gregerson sucking.

Head scratcher Hinch strikes again. Oh well, W

How much longer does Giles get before the book is slammed shut?

I thought so as well. He should not have been left in to face Maybin.

That was bad pitch but was Giles even hot yet? Seemed like he was just soft tossing when they showed the bullpen.

Norris hit 97 tonight. I had no idea he could throw that hard. I always liked the guy though.
