If so, then you would have noticed how low it was.

Terrible, terrible take. Just idiotic you would blame McHugh for throwing a good curve that the best player in baseball went and golfed out. That's not a normal swing, that's a Mike Trout swing. You must be a troll.

    Is that what they're doing?

I see a franchise that hasn't really bottomed out since winning the WS back in 2002 (with 6 playoff appearances in between).... till maybe now?

They spend money, they play in a desirable location, they draw more than 3 million fans every year, and they extended him long before they had to...

Stupid Hinch. Should have intentionally walked Trout in the first inning.

He should've tackled trout so he couldn't hit the homer

If you know baseball the way to pitch to Trout is high and out side, not low and in, but you already knew that, right????

Give him another curve in and low, and he will hit it.

When he starts hitting .375 like Bonds was when he would keep getting intentionally walked.

When he stops being one of the league leaders in strikeouts.

This is where you lose any credibility you may have. First inning, Trout hits into a DP. 4th inning, he golfs a pitch 4-6 inches off the ground for an HR.

The DP pitch was much more hittable than the HR.

Disagree, he has NO protection in that lineup.

We will never do that, last time in the 9th, men on second, and first base open and 2 outs winning by 1 Harris pitched to Trout instead of walking him and face the other guy. He hit a line drive to LF, well hit but out.

That is not good baseball, Maddon would had walk him.

I remember when CanĂ³ was killing us and we kept pitching to him.

Now, are we going to pitch the whole series to Trout when the Angels have no offense beside him???

Simple question....should they have walked him in the first inning?
