What is the reason for not trying to throw someone out???

Infielders looked asleep on that play out there as well. No one covering second. Geesh...

Again, if the Angels score here, just bad baseball.

    Should have went to third.

Trout literally half assed expecting contact.

If you can't trust the catcher to throw in that spot he doesn't need to be out there in that spot of the game.

Trout was done at third on a halfway decent throw.

Guess they chose to trust in that sub 1 ERA. Let the man pitch.

True. Gattis looked like he was told not to throw at all.

Harris is too damn good. Can't believe we picked this guy up off waivers...

Dealt with that pressure better living it than I did sitting on my ass at home.

Wasn't perfect, but nicely done by Harris. I wasn't as tense there as if say Gregerson was in. Harris gives me confidence.

Unbelievable... worst outing Harris has had all year and he still doesn't allow a run.

His short arm/cutter release is nasty.

    So tough to hit.

    Weird decision.

1.) I guess you don't want to risk a throw that gets away and ends the game relative to trusting Harris to get an out vs. a non-Pujols/Trout hitter.
2.) By not attempting a throw, you're going to get a better "frame" of the pitch.

If we had known it would be a swing and miss, and Trout would not go hard, they may have rethought things.

That could have been a Donruss highlight there if he got the 5 hits.
