Correa is getting a day off after the Astros have won 4 of 5 and Correa has contributed next to nothing. It's a long season. It is routine for players to get the occasional day off. What Correa have you been watching where you can say there is a "serious drop off"?
so...is the Cosart trade the only "winning" trade Luhnow has made? You could argue Gattis was a winner, but given the price, I would've rather allocated those prospects in other trades. Tropeano isn't a stud by any means, but the guy looks like he'd fit well in our rotation right now.
Considering Tropeano is still with the Angels and Conger no longer with the Astros, it's hard to judge that trade a 'winner' regardless of Tropeano's future success. Conger did help the Astros reach the post season last year.
I assume you mean Altuve. That being said, the lineup today is essentially no different (with the exception of not having the "putrid" Correa) than any other day.
Yes, thank you. And I know, you just really realize how bad it is with no Correa in there (who although he hasn't been great, is still a v good hitter). At some point, Reed and Bregman are going to need to come up.
not with this pitcher and not with gattis or valbuena coming up. If gattis hits it, tuve can moonwalk home from 2nd.
