I wouldn't say that. We are one of the the worst hitting teams in baseball (if not the worst) on pitches over 93 MPH. Teams are just throwing more pitches out of the zone. Team won't be like this in the future once more of Luhnow's draftees get up here.
I beg to differ ! In the A's series that's all Eric Chavez talked about and at the beginning of this game the Angels announcers said the same thing saying Weaver should be successcul. They struggle with those pitches.
Serious question.... Why don't the Astros sit on that change up? Am I missing something? He just threw 4 to Valbuena
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the teams that feed the Astros a bunch of off-speed pitches do well. I am still waiting for the Astros to adjust. Hopefully they do, but this looks like the final score already.
Alden_Gonzalez Alden Gonzalez@Alden_Gonzalez Hank Conger just whiffed on a 67-mph curveball. The Astros are having a tough time staying back on Weaver, sitting 82-83 with his fastball.
weaver hasnt even been good this season yet he continues to own us..this offense is a ****ing joke. we deserve to lose the division lead
