That's a lopsided trade in favor of the Astros. Just DFA him please. He f***ing sucks.

I would put in a non-pitching player in over Qualls

This series improved our run difference at least.

Winning the 4-gamer vs NY would somewhat nullify losing this series.

I think we have 15 guys in the minors that can perform better than Qualls has performed.

Even if they perform on the same catastrophic level of Qualls, at least it'll be some 24 year old gaining experience.

Qualls is pure deadweight…zero benefit to trotting him out there.

Good question. It was like he was holding on an invisible runner.

DFA Qualls, drop the extra pitcher and bring up Singleton in his place.

We should have pitched Qualls last night with a 11 run lead…and used Hernandez in this game. Outcome may have been the same, but I don't think it gets worse than Qualls.

They had used him to blow the game the night before.

Gotta get Quallsy his rest, can't tax that arm.

Trout and Pujols combined for like 3 golden sombreros between them. No reason to lose this game

We're just gonna have to live with games like this with this feast or famine offense

It amazes me that Carter gets so much hate on here, and Gattis hardly any.

    Gattis has a .259 OBP.

Qualls and Carter are losing key games for the team right now. The team needs to do something.

He'd get his... If Carter wasn't slugging worse and striking out more.

If anything, I see more people defending Carter than hating on him. He's bugged me more recently because of his defense... And if he's going to do that, he has to hit more.

I've been amazed by that myself. Carter is back in bad Carter mode, so I expect the hate he gets, but Gattis seems completely immune despite being the same age.

Considering how bad Altuve, Gattis and Carter have been to this point, it really is amazing our offense has been as good as it has. Those were supposed to be 3 of our 4 best hitters.

i know right it's not like altuve stole and got the run, he got a run yesterday, and he drove 2 his first game back.

the bats weren't there tonight. we're moving on to houston.

The A's may creep back into this... Their run differential suggests that they've been losing in a very flukeish fashion.
